New catalogs will be available every month. Catalogs will be sent home the first week of each month and orders will be due approximately one week later.

Reading is an important part of a child’s literacy and learning. Being read to can increase his/her vocabulary and understanding. Sometimes the right book is all it takes to nurture a child’s love of reading. Scholastic Book Clubs allow for parents to provide quality books for their children at low prices.

You are under no obligation to buy books, but if you choose to, I would recommend looking through the flyers with your child. Discuss which books interest him/her and why. Conversations like these are great ways to encourage literacy in your home.

One of the great things about Scholastic is that every time a parent orders, it provides us with free books for our classroom. This allows our classroom library to grow and expand, with books suiting every child’s individual interests. I love ordering books from Scholastic and the kids are always excited when our new books arrive.

Parents who wish to purchase books have 2 ordering options:

Option 1: Complete the attached order forms

Return the order form from the flyer in your child’s bag along with cash or a check made out to Miss Maggie’s Preschool with Book Order written in the for line.

Option 2: Order online

1. Sign up at www.scholastic.com/bookclubs. If you are a returning customer you can sign in, or create an account.
2. When prompted, enter the one-time class activation code: P4NZX
3. Select the books you’d like to order.
4. Submit your order online by the due date
