Meet Miss Maggie
Welcome!
I am Miss Maggie and this is my beautiful family! My husband, Mario, and I got married in 2013. We welcomed our daughter Camila to our family in 2018. She brings so much joy to our life.
Unfortunately, Mario was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. He battled his cancer for almost 6 months before passing away in January 2022.
We also have two dogs named Keta and Luna who just love to play and spend time with Camila!
I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and an emphasis in Early Childhood. I started my in-home preschool that following fall, after moving to El Paso, Texas. I love teaching preschool and all the fun and challenges that come along with that age group. I have experience caring for preschoolers with various health issues, such as Type 1 Diabetes and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I love crafting! I love coming up with simple crafts to do with my preschoolers and seeing the joy on their faces as they make their own masterpieces. I enjoy scrapbooking and anything else creative and craft related. Hobby Lobby might as well be my second home!
The classroom is my favorite place in our house. I love having bright colors and fun decorations! I have had a blast setting up my new classroom in Westfield and taking over my entire basement. My letter tree has been with me since my very first classroom and I have to say she got quite a few upgrades this time around! This is my favorite letter tree by far!!
The newest addition to our classroom is this fabulous built-in play house! It has quickly become preschoolers favorite feature in the classroom. My talented Dad constructed it all from the roof to the kitchen inside!
